Community
Having been in the Center Line community for over 50 years, Ford Funeral Home is very proud of the contributions that it has given back to our city. Our building has received awards for its appearance and the Fords installed a community clock on Van Dyke honoring the families that we have served over the years.
We take pride in the fact that we have always supported our local churches, school systems, civic organizations, and neighborhoods.
Our staff members are actively involved in many organizations including: Center Line Lions, Center Line Masonic Lodge, Leo XIII Knights of Columbus, Leo XIII Credit Union, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theatre, Center Line Public Schools Educational Foundation, Center Line Business Association, Michigan Funeral Directors Association (of which Dave and George are past presidents of District Six), National Funeral Directors Association, Christ Church(Episcopal) Detroit, St. Isadore Roman Catholic Church, St. Rene Roman Catholic Church, Trinity Lutheran Church, and the International Order of the Golden Rule for funeral homes.
Being a part of these organizations has brought us into a closer relationship with the members of our communities and allows us the special feeling of being a part of the families we serve.
